David Symon graduated in Slavic Studies with a specialization in Croatian – Serbian from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. He then worked with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 2008 and 2016. Currently, he works with AC-CWB Prague and the Nehemia Foundation. David received his PhD from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies in 2021, his research focused on the identity of Czech missionaries in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.

David Symon vystudoval slavistická studia ve specializacích (kroatistika – serbistika na FF UK). Poté mezi lety 2008 a 2016 pracoval s International Fellowship of Evangelical Students v Bosně a Hercegovině. V současné době působí v AC CBH Praha a v Nadačním fondu Nehemia. David v roce 2021 získal PhD na Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, jeho výzkum se zabývá identitou českých misionářů v zemích bývalé Jugoslávie.
