Preston Pearce je ze Spojených států. Absolvoval Louisiana Tech University a Mid-America Baptis Theological Seminary (M.Div., Ph.D. z teologie). V roce 1994 byl vyslán Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board (IMB) do jižní a střední Evropy. Nejprve jako profesor Nového zákona a teologie na baptistický teologický institut do Bukurešti, poté od roku 2001 do Prahy. Preston je IMB stratégem teologického vzdělávání oblasti Evropy a Asie, vyučuje biblistiku, teologii a misiologii. Je starším v pražském mezinárodním sboru Církve bratrské. Od roku 1990 je ženatý s Karen, mají čtyři dospělé děti a dvě vnoučata. Je členem the Evangelical Theological Society, Evangelical Missiological Society, Fellowship of European Evangelical Theologians, a Central & Eastern Europe Association for Mission Studies.

Preston Pearce is from the USA and is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Ph.D. in theology). He has served with the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board (IMB) in central and eastern Europe since 1994: first as professor of NT and theology at Institutul Teologic Baptist in Bucharest, Romania; and since 2001 in Prague, where he serves as IMB’s Theological Education Strategist for Eurasia and teaches regularly in the areas of biblical and theological studies and missiology. Prior to his missions service he was a pastor in the USA and is currently an elder in the CB congration International Church of Prague. He and Karen have been married since 1990 and have four adult children and two grandchildren. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Evangelical Missiological Society, Fellowship of European Evangelical Theologians, and Central & Eastern Europe Association for Mission Studies.
